This actually should go under "Burningman Projects" as Gadget created this for Burningman 2003. But it's also "Alternative Energy"! It had a single offset wheel set into the front of the boat hull, which, when driving slowly, created a bouncy sense of riding a boat's wake. When going fast, it smoothed out and felt like riding on "glass". It has an outboard set of back wheels and car batteries for power. Those are Gadget's legs...Such a fun creation, silently moving across the desert floor, that too many people jumped on board at once, and the weight broke the single ship's wheel drive chain! Once fixed (and with a new maximum passenger limit), it sailed across the Playa, powered by the solar panels on the roof. No noise, no fumes, it was like being on a sailboat moving along at a nice clip.
