Gadget was the Keynote Speaker at the Electric West Convention, Feb 8, 2005 at the Anaheim Convention Center. Additionally, he and the Gadget Girls created a light sculpture for the Klein Tools Electric Wiring Challenge, where teams competed against each other for time, with the goal of running electric to turn on the light sculpture for prizes.

Gadget Girls Kinchasa, Charlotte and Sassy teamed up with the folks at Klein Tools for the Gadget Wiring Challenge.

"The excitement kicked off February 8 with our Keynote Address presented by Reverend Gadget from the Discovery Channel's "Monster House" and "Big!". At Reverend Gadget's Wiring Challenge, Reverend Gadget built one of his famous sculptures in the Exhibit Hall - and attendees joined in! Teams of 2 were invited to compete against each other and against the clock in a series of races to complete the electrical wiring needed to light up Gadget's creation! Races took place all 3 days of the Show. Reverend Gadget's Wiring Challenge was sponsored by Klein Tools, Inc."
