Gadget's Reindeer (now painted white and covered in Christmas lights) come out for a brief stint at the Los Angeles Music Center between Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve, as they do each year.
Over the past 15 years, they have been found grazing in the water at the Mark Taper Forum, and in the interior of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
They were based on the wildlife paintings of Carl Rungius.
This year we discovered that the stag's horns had been bent down (most likely by years of incorrect storage), and we are going to send an offer to correct them, as the stag is very grand and he looked a bit peaked this year...
Fun Fact: Gadget's "given name" is enscribed on the base of each sculpture, but is hidden by Christmas flocking and other holiday trappings.

The largest hand sculpture in the world, an MTA commission, idea by artist Danny Martinez - engineered, fabricated, and installed by Reverend Gadget! TM
Twice as large as the hands on the Statue of Liberty and even larger than the (former) Saddam's "Hands Over the Highway" in Iraq.

Gadget created the scale of the project from his own hands. "This is a larger version of my own thumb..."

This is a large metal version of a Chumash canoe hanging off the main parking structure in Ventura.
It's made from perforated steel with paddles of woven wire. There are three solar panels above the piece which store power to light it at night.
This is actually Gadget's second Chumash canoe; the first was for the City of Anaheim.

This large hammer head is made entirely from 1/8th inch stainless steel plate. Gadget formed all the pieces by hand, then seam welded them. It is part of a large installation for the City of Anaheim.
